Peter Jeurissen is a Belgian pianist and organist who started his professional education at the Luca School of Arts in Leuven. He obtained several master degrees in music with the highest distinction and has been appointed as accompanist and coach of the vocal department in 2010. Within his wide musical interests, he developed a special affinity in this area. He took part in several masterclasses with some of the world’s leading lied experts as Roger Vignoles, Robert Holl, Jocelyne Dienst-Bladin, Lucienne van Dijk and Maarten Koningsberger. At this moment he is working on a research proposal involving lied accompanying, which may lead to a Phd. Apart from his academic career, he participates as a pianist in many national and international concerts and competitions.

Peter Jeurissen est un pianiste et organiste belge. Il commence ses études musicales à la Luca School of Arts à Leuven. Il obtient divers master en musique avec la plus haute distinction et devient accompagnateur et coach du département chant en 2010. Il développe une affinité particulière dans ce domaine et participe à de nombreuses classes de maître avec quelques experts incontestés du lied tels que Roger Vignoles, Robert Holl, Jocelyne Dienst-Bladin, Lucienne van Dijk et Maarten Koningsberger. Actuellement, il travaille sur un projet de recherche pouvant mener au doctorat et concernant l’accompagnement de mélodies. A côté de sa carrière académique, il participe comme pianiste à de nombreux concerts et compétitions internationaux.

Almaz Bagabiev was born on 8th of January 1991 in Kazan, Russia. He started to learn music in a music school at age 10 playing accordion. At age 13 he started to learn flute playing in central music school of Kazan-city with Stepan Pushin. At the same time he was taking private lessons with professor in Kazan Conservatoir Dmitry Antonov. Later in 2006 he passed the entrance examinations in Music Military college in Moscow where he studied 4 years in flute class of Andrey Alpatov. In 2011 he started to study in Leuven, Belgium in LUCA (Lemmens university of culture and arts) with Berten D’Hollander. While studying in Belgium he participated in Moscow Flute completion in 2012 and Adams Flute competition in 2014. In this year he made his exchange study in Hamburg, Germany with Hans-Udo Heinzmann. In the period of 2015-2016 he made his obliged military service in the Russian Central military orchestra. While serving there he was honored to play with many great conductors including Valery Gergiev together with Mariinsky Theatre Symphony orchestra. In 2017 he took the third prize in International flute competition in Sofia, Bulgaria. Currently he’s finishing his study in LUCA with Berten D’Hollander.

Almaz Bagabiev est né le 8 janvier 1991 à Kazan, en Russie. A 10 ans, il commence l’apprentissage de la musique par l’accordéon. A 13 ans, il entame des études de flûte à l’Académie centrale de musique de la ville de Kazan auprès de Stepan Pushin. En même temps, il suit des cours privés au Conservatoire de Kazan avec Dmitry Antonov. Plus tard, en 2006, il passe l’examen d’admission au collège de musique militaire à Moscou où il étudie pendant 4 ans dans la classe d’Andrey Alpatov. En 2011 il entame des études à Leuven, en Belgique, au LUCA (Lemmens University of Culture and Arts) auprès de Berten D’Hollander. Durant ses études en Belgique, il participe en 2012 au Moscow Flute completion et l’Adams Flute competition en 2014. Cette même année, il participe à un échange académique à Hamburg en Allemagne, auprès de Hans-Udo Heinzmann. De 2015 à 2016, il remplit son obligation militaire dans le Russian Central military Orchestra. Durant son service, il a eu le privilège de jouer avec de nombreux chefs renommés dont Valery Gergiev et le Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra. En 2017, il remporte le 3ème prix du concours de flûte à Sofia, en Bulgarie. Actuellement, il termine ses études avec Berten D’Hollander au LUCA.
